- Environmental impact assessments.
- Conservation easements: Plan, design, draft terms; monitor, verify, guide enforcement.
- Invasives management.
- Erosion control and soil stabilization: Plan, contract, monitor remediation.
- Ecological restoration, reclamation of damaged landscapes.
- Boundary marking, trail planning, creation, and maintenance.
Work with the real estate market to promote sustainable communities in functional, resilient natural systems.
- Review and analyze land use and development proposals for conservation interests, find ecologically sound solutions, low impact techniques.
- Research properties, negotiate purchases, interests, and reconfigurations, plan siting of improvements, e.g. negotiating access rights to water resources.
- Plan and manage sustainable development activities for conservation and town planning.
C. Coordination among stakeholders:
- Identify and develop opportunities for collaboration among stakeholders with diverse interests.
- Coordinate information access and exchange among conservation entities with related interests, to preserve and build on collective experience.
- Help develop website and map content to facilitate and present multiparty endeavors.
